What should we expect from Architecture Teams?
❌ Organizations often expect their architecture teams to execute work in other teams’ domains or dictate technical decisions. This can unintentionally lead to bottlenecks.
✅ Instead, an architecture team should primarily provide guidance and avoid executing work.
⏱️ Collaboration with architecture teams should be time-bound. There should be no long-term dependence on an architecture team.
💪 A successful architecture team is one that increases the autonomy of the teams with which it collaborates.
🔑 Then the architecture team truly becomes an enabling team.
